And this is after the water went down a couple feet. It was impossible to do anything with the water at its peak height. I couldn't even get home from work and I only live about 3/4 mile away.

I did drive to the nearest open post office on the 30th to mail my PHR photos!

Those pictures look all too familiar, we had the worst flooding since '72 around here last week.

there are more and more subdivisions going up around mine and im always on the watch for water, each subdivision lays out its ground plan but often times doesnt take surrounding areas into account. i live @ the back/high side of the sub im in right now but the creek on the other end keeps rising. indiana has some clay packed crappys oil that doesnt absorb much h2O
