Mike, what are you doing - just driving the lesser-travelled roads and taking pictures of what you see (the pics don't look like this is the case), or are you going house-to-house asking the owners if they know of any old cars that are just sitting?

Pictures like that remind me of a 57 chevy coupe outside of Graham, TX. Starting in the mid eighties, my father and i would stop by this guy's house and ask what he wanted for it every couple years. It was parked under an old barn with the back 2/3rds exposed to the elements. Every time it was the same story. He would say we don't really want to buy it, then rattle off something in the neighborhood of 8-10K. I swear he would even account for inflation. I was last out hunting in Graham 4 years ago, and it was still there, rotting away.
I hope you struck a deal over a couple of these. That 59 Vette would make a good PT ride.

As is always the case, some of it is for sale. I am trying to buy the 70 Mach 1 shaker car. The Corvettes are not for sale at this time. The amazing find is the pictures with the bikes! How about early 1920's Harley's, Indians, whizzer's, cushmans and even wood rimmed and wood frame bicycles. None of that was for sale. The 64 Malibu SS is a 327/300 HP 4 speed, 12 bolt posi, bucket seat, console car. It's real and rough!
There really is a lot of this stuff out there. Not shown in the pictures is the 71 Cutlass convertible I bought that has been parked since 83, the 70 Olds Cutlass W31 I bought that has sat since the early 90's. You just have to dedicate several days and gas money and start riding the backroads. Stop and ask lots of questions at local dump garages and mom and pop convience stores.
Happy hunting!
