So I ordered a set of subframe connectors and body bushings from gw....everything for my suspension project has arrived, except for them. I'm starting to get a little worried. It's been around 2 weeks since I put the order in. So, should I be? Any horror stories? According to them my stuff shipped yesterday, but i asked them to email me a tracking order and no dice.

I have heard the shipped yesterday story over and over. I would insist on a trracking number.

They get behind frequently. Insist on the tracking #.

I'm thinking the same thing. I'll give them a holler just to check in and get that #.

I have heard issues buying direct from GW, but no first hand experience. I got mine form Ron's Race Shop (nastyz28 sponsor). No issues.
Except I had to get a different bolt for the l/f body bolt (not the rad support). The one supplied hit the toe board in my 77Z28. But that is not a shipping issue.

Don't EVER ask them to email you anything. If you want the tracking number, you ask them for it over the phone. Most likely you will be transferred to I think Kevin, and he'll get you the tracking number. I had to call to make sure my arms had shipped. I'll be trying Ron's Race Shop when I order their stuff next time.

I waited about 2 months for everything I ordered. I just got my swaybar about a week ago. I was pleased with the quality but the wait was too long.
I called about a tracking number or even just notification when it ships, but they wouldn't provide a number. I work 2 hours away from my car(where everything was shipped) so I had to make friends with my UPS man to call me when things came in. (you have to sign for everything.)
Anyway, I'm having fun putting in the rear bushings. Yea! No not really.

I had a complete nightmere with these guys, It was right around the release of the 2nd gen tubular control arms. I heard exuses ranging from the shipping guy was in an accident to you can't have the arms yet because they are on our demo sub frame. I cancelled the order after 7 weeks and got a used set from a guy on this site. I will never even attempt to purchase anything from them again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Global West should cease doing business directly with customers. It's products should be sold "exclusively" through suppliers. They have neither the will nor the means to execute a perfect system of customer service, so they should just throw in the towel and let someone else handle it.

I had trouble with my order too. Long story short; they flat out lied to me twice, gave me the run-around, and took forever to deliver the goods. Nice stuff, just buy it through someone else.

ordered leaf springs on 5/31 threw Jegs (a sponsor here). I paid extra to have them drop shipped to me so I could have them by fathers day . All i wanted to do was take my dad out crusing that weekend and they didn't show up.. I called 4 different times to jegs with the same answer,, they are shippnig them today. After a month I recieved them last saturday overnighted at global west expense.
I was going to order complete font end kit with tubular a-arms and del bushings, I will find someone else.

IMO, Jeg's is one of the best places to order them from. I have ordered countless times without any problems from Jeg's. That is probably why they overnighted the springs since it was a late order by Jeg's.

i will continue business with Jegs.. There customer service people were doing there best. Maybe one dropped the ball, but that happens in my line of business everyday..
Global west IMO lied to jegs everytime I called. Will not buy there products after the last deal:slap: (which means very little to them)

I ordered some springs and such from them and it took over a month and a half to get them. I even asked if they had them is stock when I ordered. Like somebody esle said try not to order direct from them. Quality of parts is nice though!

I ordered a few things from GW and got them quickly. Then again they were parts for a 1st gen Nova and not an F body sooooo that might be why I did not have problems.
