Well we have been hard at it. The chassis is all mocked up. We have almost all of the fab on the custom bed wraped up. We have done quite a bit of sheetmetal fab on the cab and inner fenders. He have built the headers, and started on the x pipe and exhaust. we have made the custom resirvoirs for the wilwood pedal assembly. I'm waiting on big boxes of parts from Compcams, FAST, Air ride technologies, Kinsler, Aeromotive, MSD, and a few others. I ordered the new callies crank SLP short block this morning. It should be here next week. Other than that there is lots more work before SEMA. Bob Ryder of truckin has been up here now 3 time stakin lots of pics for a 4-5 month article on the build up.
Let me know what ya think.

You know that is a BADASS truck . But i have a question , After all that work and its press , and if you wanted to sell it do you think it would bring big bucks or just pass by and cause a hell of a loss in money involved in building it .
I dont even know if you think of selling it , I am just asking a question. NO DISRESPECT INTENDED.
I remember seeing some Boyd cars built and then sold at BJ and did not bring much at all for the car
And by the way , I love this truck

I realize that it is not a camaro or cuda as far as resale goes. But with all the effort we have put into the chassis I think it shows more detail then a car ever could. because the bed floor is open to see the rear suspension. With the flip of a button the tonneu cover will flip up and reveal the whole rear suspension. The plan is to sell the truck in the end, the customer and myself hope it bring big money. The was a caged out race inspired truck and BJ that brought 210,000. i think I have the wow factor handled, and the quality of product is headed in the right direction so we will see. I just need some interested buyers. When we started this project about a year ago I had no odea it would turn out like this,
The plan after selling this truck is to start 2-3 more projects, and then turn those. I have some good ideas for those .

I watched the trucks sales very closely at Barrett Jackson this year and they did great. I think you will do good.

Hey i mean no disrepect , just a curious question . I wonder the same for other cars that are not in the "in crowd" also . I dont mean this for just a truck .
I love the truck and wish i was that capable to build something like this . Syborg your truck is kickass also .

No disrespect taken. I have been pondering the same thought I hope to use the capital to build some other projects. But I have had a difficult time trying to decide what to put all this kind of effort into to have the same wow factor but maybe better resale factor. But then again does doing what everyone else does bring the biggest money? or does some originality and taste bring the biggest dough. In street rods originality and craftsmanship does look at the whatthehey, or the lincoln zephyr that sold for big $$.
I'm not building these cars to get rich, I eat sleep and breath this stuff and just what to afford to up quality on the next project. Time is money and these cars take lots of time and alot of money for good parts.
