How much of a weight savings would there be by switching from a stock set of A-arms to a tubeular disigne ?? I am not so much in to turns as I am going fast and I was looking to drop some pounds.

There isn't usually much difference in weight. Some tubular arms are lighter, but those are also supposedly weaker and recommended only for drag racing. If you want a lighter set, Global West has the TLC Drag Series line of components to save you some weight.

Only have info for lowers. Global West TLC lower are basically like their std tubulars w/o sway bar mount.
Stock: 15.5# ea / complete (with an extra coilover plate for reinforcement)
GW TLC: 14# ea / complete
GW upper TLCs are chrome moly, I think the weight savings would be slightly greater vs. stock.
