My car is mini-tubbed and measures an easy 14-1/2" clearance without modifying the fender lip. I measured front and back space and determined what width I would need to center a wheel with 1" offset in the wheelhouse.
Question 1: Is 3/4" between the tire and the lip enough? How about 1/2"?
Question 2: Should I "cheat" a little to one side or the other? Meaning, go a little wider and leave more room on the inside, or narrower and leave more on the outside?
