Today i took the front suspension apart and it is blasted in 150C water.
Its going to be sandblasted and poudercoated.
New Energy Suspension bushings are in house!
The front suspension will get a serious upgrade later
I have begun looking for new brakes for the car.
Anyone now of 13" or bigger kits?

The 71-73's are nice looking cars, what really detracts from stock ones are the whimpy wheels/tires they usually come with coupled with the wrong stance.
Since I was a teen, they always reminded me of Mad Max, the shape is similar.

Very nice and I generally don't like those years of Mustang.. Nice.. :)
Man, you made that body style look awesome. Just goes to show you what a good stance and correct wheel/tire combo can do for a car. Keep the pics coming! Also, do you have any more pics/info on the black Z-28 in the background?

Thanks :)
I actually dont know what it is for, i assume it is for the oil dip stick but the hole is unusally large. Im just going to plug it.
(running a 5.0 EFI converted to carb and the oil dip stick hole is in the block on that one.)

Thanks,

Hey Man! :)
Moved into a new place, and have been without internet for some time now. But now im back again!
The wheels are 18x8 and 20x9,5 with BF Goodrich 245/35-18 and 275/30-20. Dont remember the backspacing for the moment.
I rolled the tip of the fenders a little bit but not much.
Gotta get some less rubber on the frontwheels, 35 is to much for me :) And yes those brakes are of and sold ;)

I’d appreciate it if you could get the backspacing on those wheels because I’ve been asking & here’s what I’ve found;
With 17” rims on the front, 4.5” backspacing is the most that can be done before interference with the ball-joints.
I want to run 18” wheels on the front & was wondering if the 18” wheels could get away with a little more backspacing?
The wheels I’m looking at are:
Front
18x8 backspace (6.15 in.) or (5.87 in.)
& Rear
20x10 backspace (6.09 in.)
Since you have 18”/20” on your Mustang I was hoping you could tell me if you think this wheel setup would work on my car.
Thanks, Chris

Thanks Man :)
I cant hide the airride system things under, its a complete compressor control system with three automatic height presets, and it has a cylinder mounted onto the front bags (because of the automatic height control). No sets are made for these cars so this is a full on custom set made for this car.
Can not put them on the innerfender eighter because of the clearance with the wheel

Fun if the car give other 71-73 owners inspiration :)
When i first started this project many of the parts were very hard to find, but the repop buisness has more and more parts for them as each year goes by.
My car is therefore loaded with NOS (new original stock) parts that has cost me a hole deal of dollars...
