Hey folks can somone recomend a GOOD tuner for a buddys 92 332 fox body ?
He needs a custom chip burned
We built a stroker w 9.5:1 afr 185 heads a decent roller cam intake t body and long tube headers
he had it tuned by a guy and he ran it 3 times for A/F readings readt 370 RWHP, made some af adjustments and rolled it of the dyno W/O retesting, we dont even know what the after tune RWHP is
The car pulled 13.01 at LACR on street tires. 1.6 60 foot et and 105 mph at the top.
Its a stick btw
I think he should be running better than 370 RWHP
Your comments and help are greatly Apriciated
thanks Ken F

That's sounds about right... I had a 93 LX with a stock bottom GT40x heads and a Kenny Bell 1.5. It pulled 350rwhp and 400rwtq. LACR was 13.2 @ 107. A 1.6 60ft time is damn good for street tires. I couldn't get below 2.0 for the life of me. Old hard crappy tires. Remember the higher altitude at LACR. Blown cars will do much better there. Provide you stick.

Try DEED's Performance in Chatsworth.

I was hoping the combo would make better than 400 at the wheels but I gues its limeted by the Blue oval (no offense)

I've seen a 302 pull 500 flywheel hp. (No torque) It was a carb motor in a 68 drag mustang. 14:1 CR race fuel running low 10's.

302 2 valves are not allot of air movement. Blown or Higher compression is the only things that will wake them up.

9.5 CR on a 332 is light. He could of easily ran 10.5:1. That would have given a good kick closer to the 400rwhp. The cam is everything as well.

You can get it, I just said that with the combo he was running, it sounded about right.
