Does anybody have any thoughts or comments about the following books?

How To Make Your Car Handle by Fred Puhn
Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams

I'm looking for a good easy-for-the-average-guy-to-understand book on suspension concepts of design and function.

Any other good books to recommend?

Uh, thanks, but most of those links don't work any longer.

Does anyone have any specific comments/opinions about the specific books I've listed?

TIA

Both are good, I like Herb's book for a "beginer" class. Don't expect it to give you a formula for designing a setup, none of them will, because it is really dependent upon specifically what you are looking to do. There is no "one size fits all" in this case, there are ALWAYS compromises, the trick is to understand what you might be giving up in order to emphasize a particular aspect. Those books are a good intro to learning that.

Paved Track Stock Car Technology by Steve Smith is another good primer on suspension. I don't think there are any BAD books. The more the better. A good auto library is a great investment.
