I am thinking about powdercoating my LT1 intake and water pump gloss black. Would doing it in black, instead of red or lighter color, adversely effect the working of the engine by holding a higher temp in these parts? I know it will hold heat a bit more, but I don't think it would really create that much of a difference...just thought you all would have a better idea about it.
