fuel gauge wiring 67/99 camaro with fuel cell

I put a 99 Camaro Dash Ls1 and all the wiring into my 67.
I have almost all the options working. I can not get the fuel sending unit in the fuel cell to operate the stock 99 fuel gauge.
Has any one put a fuel cell in a new camaro or have any idears.
