Those are nice finds...it must depend on your location. I look on Craigslist every day and rarely see good deals on vintage iron (Raleigh, NC area).

BTW, did you see the picture of the 66 Mustang? I wouldn't trust sitting in the driver's seat!!!!

Funny... I used to live in Fayetteville in '80s and there was tons of good cheap vintage iron to be had. Hell, bought a '67 GTO driver there with not an ounce of bondo or rust on it for $800 in '87. Had the chance to buy several driver quality hemi Mopars for less than $3k... but then again, $3k was a ton of cash for a 14-16 year old... sigh...

I find interesting looking posts in Phoenix, but you never know until you see them in person. I have been having great luck selling parts on Craigslist lately. So much nicer then feeding the Ebay monster!

Don't forget that alot of "Larry the Cable Guys" types post on Craigslist. These sellers are very creative in their spelling. I bought a tranny listed only as a "Rockcrusher". The sellers father gave him the tranny to sell. Poor soul didn't even know it was a M22. I also bought a 1969 Camaro listed as a "Camero". The guy couldn't figure out why he wasn't getting many calls. If you are a buyer searching for "Camaro", you won't get a hit on "Camero"
