so I have this 1986 ford F250 with a 460 big block, XL package, its a VERY clean 86 the best one ive seen in a while. How ever im looking to sell it because i have no need for a truck like that and it uses alot of gas wich isnt worth it because im not using it for towing or work. so Ive been posting ads in the news paper and bringing it to used car sales lots TRYING to get rid of it for about a month now. No one seems to want trucks like these even when they are going cheep! Im just trying to get alittle more then half of what i paid for it a little while ago! I dont know how im going to get rid of this thing. Its a nice truck it should be more desierable.

It's because of gas prices. Supposedly SUV and truck sales have fallen greatly because of the gas increase. My suggestion would be to hold onto it for a little while longer. Gas prices will either come down or people will get used to them, and you should be able to sell the truck for what your asking or more.

It's definitely not a sellers market for trucks and SUVs these days.

Just keep the ad running in the local "truck trader". Sooner or later a contractor is going to need a truck.
