Well, super sticky and good wear don't usually go together, but try a set of kumho's I've heard good things about them. Also, the Nitto tires are supposed to be good.

Kumho ECSTA MX is the way to go imo. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+MX (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+MX) Best bang for the buck for sure. Kumho's ECSTA 710's and VictoRacer's win more SCCA events than any other tire.

I'm using Nitto NT555 RII's on my Chevelle. They are R-compound tires and supposedly last 15-17K miles with a few track days thrown in as well. My contact at Nitto swears by them and says that on high horsepower applications, they are prone to lasting longer than a standard 555 bacause of how well they grip. They are also beautiful tires and come in a 275 and 305 widths (not limited to that, just all I can think of off the top of my head. Just some food for thought.

I loved the Nitto 555's I had on my Mustang. I have friends that love the Kumho 712's. The Victoracers will wear out before you leave the parking lot..LOL. But they handle like mad!

If you get Kumho, get the MX. I have the MX on my Corvette and they are a great tire. Don't get the Kumho Ecsta 712. I've had those too and did not like them.

i like the way they look but they have kinda low tread wear rating
i like the eagle f1's but im not sure about how they would do in a track day situation. probly fine but you dont see alot of guys runnin them
