Does anyone have any good information about chassis dyno's (DynoJet) and wheter they are hard on the motor. I have been told that they put a lot of undue stress on the crank, rods, etc due to "free-wheeling". However, if you read articles about DynoJet they actually state that thier Free-wheeling design put 75% less stress on components, so I'm not sure what to believe. I just put a 383 in my 68 Chevelle about 2000 miles ago. Our target was 500 hp at the crank and I would like to see what the bph is. But I don't want to risk damaging it if dynos aren't good on the motor. Any advise? Thanks!!!!
