67 camaro ls1

I am going to order my exhaust and want opinions on sound and performance on 2.5 or 3 inch exhaust. What would be better on a stock ls1 with mac headers in a 67 camaro. I am looking at flowmaster 40s

I have a 3" on my 67 with a LS1. We put in a X pipe and 40 series Flow Masters. It is quiet at a idal but sounds good at rpm.

to late the exhaust wound up being flowmaster american thunder. 2.5 and sounds great.
