It's nice to see the intrest in pro-touring cars as seen by
the bidding on the ls1/t56 69 camaro convertible. It seems
like a high quality car with a very nice suspension. I will
be watching this one since Im almost done with my 69 Ls2/t56
and can use this one as a comp for the insurance company.
I would post the ebay link but don't know how. Maybe somebody
could because not many LSX 1st Gens go across ebay.

Beautiful car, but I wonder how Foose would feel someone using his name. Plus he won't reveal the builder or allow you to look at it?

It seems like a pretty good deal for 66K for what you are getting. I wonder what it'll actually sell for

I was watching the auction and I believe some guy bought it before
the auction ended. The highest I saw it was $66,000 anyone see it go
higher?

I was bidding on this car. The seller never intended to let the auction go to the end with no reserve. The car probably sold to the high bidder at the time after a negotiated price. I was offered the car at far less than $121K and passed.

That T56 crossmember sits so low, they routed the exhaust over it.

It looks like a very nice car, but 121,000.00 buy it now, WOW. I could see a car like that going for 70 to 80 if it is as nice as it looks but......:dunno:

Speaking of exhaust clearance, will I have problems routing 3" exhaust under mine?

Thanks.

If you have one of ours, then No.
