Forgelines, I really like mine. The one you have pictured must be a new style. I really like it. Frank is a dealer for them, check with him before you buy. He will be on the power tour also, so it may take some time to get him this week. I talked to Jeff tonight, and will see him tommorrow.

I'll second the Forgelines. I love mine as well. Lightweight, look great, and have held up to daily driver duty great as well.

i really like how sharp the kinesis wheels look...gives them a more precise, agressive feel.

But I've heard better things about forgelines.

Tough call.

Are the centers on the Kinesis wheels powercoated? It is sooooo much easier to clean the forgelines with powercoated centers. You just have to polish the outside hoop.
You can get the forgelines either way, but I am so glad I when with p/c.
Just something else to throw in the mix.....decisions, decisions........

both are polished lips
the kinesis is hard anodized
the forgeline is painted
the kinesis has a step up on the rim outer
the forgeline is soft look or fat lip
the kinesis valve stem is on the rim
the forgeline come thru the center area
both will end up costing pretty close to the same

Kinesis... hands down.

If you prefer the reverse lip, Kinesis offers them also, but they are not strong as stepped lips. They have tons of finish options which include your choice of paint, but I personally perfer their standard finish, shot peened and anodized.

kinesis does offer reverse lip in a 19 and smaller but not a 20

Here's what I suggest you do. Stare at both wheels on your computer screen. Place them side by side. Stare at your rendering for a while too. I did that and the smoother look of the Forgeline wheels kinda stood out to me as fitting the look better.
