Been drag racing for some time now and kids and houses and like have slowed me down a little, so I picked up a project and I hope to take it in the Pro Touring direction, hoping you guys can help. Picked up a 1980 Fairmont Station Wagon from a 72 year old lady, which considering the fact that I live on an Island in the middle of the Atlantic on the east coast of Canada is a feat in itself. Most metal around here from 1980 is swept up from the shop floors. This car has 67000 kms or 42000 miles or so, sports a back breaking 94HP from the original 200 CID straight six. Plans are to do suspension, brakes and efi 5.0 or 5.8 swap and have some fun with my ultimate goal of doing the Power Tour in a few years. Glad I found this place. Pic of the ride...
