wheels are in - lug question

Hello, I received my Bonspeed Huntington's for my 67 Camaro yesterday - and they are BAD. I highly recommend newstalgia by the way.

I have a few questions. What do you guys recommend for torque on the lug nuts? I can't use a lug wrench because the hole where the lug nut goes is to small, so I will need to use a socket and torque wrench. What do you guys torque to?

Also, I had a buddy mount them for me, and he damaged the fat lip on one of them when he mounted them. No big deal - stuff happens. Basically I have two small, but deep knicks in one place, and then a 1" long scrap on another place. What do you guys recommend for sanding and polishing out the knicks.

What do you recommend for future maintenance care of wheels. I've always had rally's until now, so shinny wheels are a new one for me.

Lug wrench not fitting isn't a bad thing, you are better off torquing them anyhow. Torque spec depends on the size of the stud in your hub. This link should help you out:

I will try to post some pics in a few days. They look really good on the car. My front tires are a little small, but they were a Christmas present last year - so what do you do. It still looks really good.

what sizes did you go with??

17x8 with 4.75 backspacing on all 4. This is a 67 convertable big block car, so I did not want to modify any body panels, roll lips, or tub, although the car is lowered 2". These sizes are perfect. For some reason, it appears that my rearend is not perfectly centered so the drivers side is a little closer to the rear inner wheelwell, but the wheels fit great.
