wow that looks really nice . i have the same rear cover you have how close does that tank ride to the cover. ? looks kinda close i have a magna fuel pump and filter kit that it looks like i may have to move but im in for a penny in for a pound. thanks much rybar for the pics and the info . how do you like the speed tech equipment ? i got mine so early into the manufacturing process that they didnt come with lower bump stops. front coil over,s wilwood brakes q-a1 on all four corners adjustable and tuneable. my biggest problem is keeping it goin straight HA HA 810 hp 540 was kinda over kill but its fun. okay man thanks enjoy motoring that sweet lookin camaro nice work i like it.

Not yet, but I just cancelled my Rock Valley Auto tank mods and redirected my new tank to Ricks in El Paso to complete.
Rock Valley told me it was a 4 wee kturnaround....I'm not waiting 4 weeks.

I think that it is just an optical illusion in the picture. I don't have that cover on mine, but there is plenty of room between the rear end and tank. You can see my cover on the left side of the picture below. My ProStar EFI 600 pump is offset and has plenty of room.

There is plenty of room between the rear and the tank, so i woudn't worry about that. I'd call Ricks and ask them about clearance with that suspension. I'm also pretty happy about all the suspension components and brakes on my car, although I haven't tried racing it yet, just cruising the streets.

Aw man, that pic brings back memories Rybar. The tank is looking good. I sold the entire ’69 project on eBay in Aug about 3 month after you took that tank off my hands. I never followed up that you got it after I first forwarded it to Ricks for the mods. Good to see you eventually got it with no problem. Looks awesome. I should have the family finances back in the black in another year or so, and I will start another project asap. It’ll be a ’69. I’ve had 3 since I was 16, so no point stopping now
Hey Overkill... Had a chance to run on that Alston subframe? How’s it feel? All I got to do was see mine sit on the car in the garage. I gotta follow up with the guy that bought my project to see how far along he's gotten.

Yep, thanks Craig  The guys at Ricks were awesome to deal with. That's why I always recommend them. You gotta get another project going!

Yep, I've put a few miles on it now. I haven't done any track testing, but it is ok for normal street driving. It does seem to have a little bump steer at times, but other than that it's ok. Now I just need to get motivated enough to get the rear suspension and mini-tubs in, along with the money for the rear suspension...
I was going through my links yesterday since I finally got my website back online and looked at your site. I knew you were trying to sell your project, but didn't know that you had sold it back in August. Hopefully it won't be long until you are back on a new project car.
