As I stood scratching my head while trying to figure out how to assemble the brake line kit that came in the mail today, my eyes wondered to the big ugly stock distro block. Is this thing really necessary? Is there any issue with replacing it with a tee for the front and a seperate adjustable proportioning valve for the rear? I am thinking this would be much cleaner...

Any thoughts?

I scrapped the distibution block. Buy you a tee at AutoZone, plumb from the m.c. into it, and tee off to each of the front wheels. I'm not running a proportioning valve. I bought a residual valve from Summit and plumbed it into the rear line under the driver seat on the frame. Stops like a dream!

Import,
You got that Camaro on the road, yet?

No problem with the tee. Will work just fine.
