I see you bought it. You should be able to flip that car easily. Then I want to see you riping that convertible apart.
Adam, be careful with what you wish for. He might want to trade your car. I know a lot of people who would like to have your car.
And besides, now he is going to trade me the convertible and this one for my car..:rotfl:

I'm glad to hear you're going a bit more "conservative". I've seen the ever so occasional Eleanwhore clone that is cool, but for the most part I'm pretty burned out on the gaudy bodywork and tired "pepper gray metalic with black stripes" paint scheme. If you're a regular of the Mustang world, you know where I'm coming from. Besides, I'm less into gaudy bodywork in general, but especially when it adds 500 lbs to a car. Heck, give me a clean and subtle '67 with a boosted motor and dropped on a set of big light weight race wheels with big ass tires. Oh wait... I think I just described the new Fast&Furious car. I think I might be

Yep your springs are way too stiff. Just get some new ones.
There is one more thing I highly suggest for any of you Mustang owners. From a structural standpoint those Mustangs really really should have a "Monte Carlo" bar in there. You can get them real cheap and they help reinforce the engine compartment. Its just a small suggestion that can help prevent you from twisting or tweaking the front end out of square. Post as many pics as you like. :)

Wow! That is really a very nice car to begin with. The silver makes a nice modern statement too.
Oh, and:

I completely agree... and a proper one piece export brace would be a good choice as well. The stock 2 piece design is mediocre really and a one piece version is only like $40.
One other thing I recommend... the best mod I made to my chassis was, without a doubt, a set of weld-in subframe connectors. It made the car feel much more settled and solid and actually eliminated a lot of rattles and creaks that had been common before. It's really suprising how much the early Mustang unibody chassis flexes.
Nice score on a nice car!

thanks wyatt..i drove it yesterday..the front end is really stiff..my cousin had differnet springs on it but said the tires hit the fenders.so not sure what im gonna do there yet..and the manual steering sucks..lol..looked into power but wohoo big bucks..and will get those braces you guys talked about i see where they would help alot...and to me the stock seat is way to hi and im only 5-7 but my head almost hits the roof..some changing needed there too..but thats the fun of it all.

At the bottom of this page http://www.adfabdesign.com/Mustang_Coupe/Parts/Parts.html There are some pics of the pieces we installed for our 67 Mustang. The chrome Export brace was $49.00 and the stainless steel monte carlo bar was $45.00. Ours was more expensive because we have the I6 engine instead of the V8. We have them installed just havent posted any pics yet. It actualy changed our front end alignment. Squared it right up. Both pieces are upside down in this pic.
