I have a 67 Camaro with Hotchkis front and rear. The front came out great however the rear is too high - about 4" gap between fenderwell and top of tires (275/40 -17). Is anybody else having any issues with the springs? I tightened with weight of car on ground and we have now driven it a few days with no change. The car has never been hit so that isnt causing the problem. Some other pics of 67/68 Camaros and measurements from center of wheel to center of fender lip would be very helpful.

Well i installed the same kit on my 69 camaro and the only problem i ran into was that i had to shorten the driveshaft by about an 1" because the springs moved the rear end forward slightly. As for you height problem im not sure whats up with that, cause i have 255/60/15 and they tuck nicely in the rear, but ill take some pics and measurements to see if they can help you.

.......driven it a few days with no change.
Give it about 30 days before you do anything. Its gonna take more than a couple of days and a couple of miles for them to settle.
An idea would be to measure the fender height every couple of days after some driving on them to get an estimate on how much they are actually settling. Once that number stops changing, give it another week or so with the weight on the wheels.
Wait a little and make sure they are truely settled before you do any final right height adjustment.

We will drive it around some more and see what happens. The front ended up exactly where we wanted it so was a little surprised at the rear height. Hopefully we do not have an issue with the springs themselves being arched incorrectly or something.
