Took 5.7 hemi cuda to the track to see how it would run, drove it to the track, ran 12.40 at 111 mph,on 18 inch radials.Engine is basically stock accept cam and headers.

So you put a 5.7 hemi out of one of the new trucks and dropped it into an old Cuda? That's a great time and mph. Congrats!

Just got back from last leg of the power tour.I didn't get into it at all on the ride across to Englishtown.I was amazed by the milage over 20 mpg with no overdrive. The ride home was another story though

Man that's just icing on the cake. Do you have an overdrive planned at any point?

No not really, the car just seems to work.Sometimes in the combinations you put together, you just get lucky and they just are a perfect balance.Drove the car up there 70 mph to Englishtown without one hickup, tried to to race the car there, but there was a major shortage of helmets. The thing is super consistant 12.40 getting over 20 mpg and the more I drive it the more I like it.I built the car, just because I han't had a Mopar in so long,I planned on selling it,because I've got a couple of projects lined up behind it ,but now I don't know

Heck if it's that consistant and that reliable I'd hold onto it and just drive it too. Congrats again on everything working out and the car simply being down right cool if you ask me.

Hey, that Cuda is looking great. I have some parts left over from my own New Hemi project.

I have a new set of 6.1 heads (assembled) valve and springs and a 6.1 intake that has the injectors and fuel rails.
This will be an instant pick up of an additional 40 h.p. over what you have and the intake is aluminum.

I'm looking for $1,350.00 for the setup

Been watching your build, really beautiful car, looks very well designed. That intake your using is sexy looking.Questions, been talking to everyone I can thats done the new hemi conversion. We've all been discussing engine management. Some have used FAST, some AEM mine is GM LS1.A couple of guys told me they gave up on FAST.What are you using?Have dynoed the car? Has it been to the track yet? ET? I've got several 6.1 heads,I might be interested in the intake if you wanted to break them up, How much?
