Can anyone tell me the difference in the mounting holes?. I've got a Wayne Due clip I got from someone else and Wayne tells me if the holes in the upper mount are about 5.5 inches apart it must be the 88-96 set-up can anyone shed any light on this for me??
Thanks

be careful theres a differance on the spindles on the years 84-96 as i have found out had on the 96 that i have i had to shorten the upper and lengthen the lower A arms

How do you tell the difference if you don't know what year it is to begin??? I've got spindles ,uppers and lowers , 2 sets of the spindles have holes in the center where the hub goes through and the others don't . I was told when I bought one set they were 87 but I'm begining to think thats wrong

Just to make sure were on the same page, what i call a spindle is what you bolt the upper and lower a arms to and that the caliper bolts onto , someone on here must know i cannot tell you as i do not have the early ones , but when mark stielow used the early ones on the red camaro they went straight on without altering the a arms when i used the 96 ones i had to modify the uppers by shortening and the lowers by lenghting.

I can`t help you much on the spindle ID but the `88-`96 have shorter upper A arms and longer lower A arms so they must have more built in KPI in the spindles. They were trying to get more - camber gain out of the front suspension. BTW we`ve got C4/Wayne Due subframe fully adj. tubular upper A arms that will fit both and give you a wider range of alignment settings and a Stage 1 package to get more camber gain out of it and raise the RC slightly (to make up for more front weight bias than a C4). The Stg.1 requires either 18" wheels or less than C4 backspacing for clearance though. Mark SC&C
