Looks like I'll be in the area Wed June 21 -Sun June 25. The woman has a work conference out there and I am going with her for the joys of a vacation. Didn't know if anyone would be interested in meeting up, would like to see your cars.
Also what are the fun things to do in the area? Hotel is in Scottsdale.
Thanks

Well I used to live there, but I can tell you it's probably going to be a little warm. Actually it's going to be hot even at night so be prepared. Obviously there's golf (hey, it's Scottsdale) if you can stand the heat. Other ideas would be the Barrett-Jackson showroom, walking around Old Town Scottsdale, the Scottsdale Museum. Just driving around North Scottsdale can be fun because of all the exotics running around. When I was there 575 Maranello's were common. Oh, if you find yourself driving around Paradise Valley, those are homes not hotels.
I never found a favorite restaurant, but the Unlikely Cowboy is good. One of the best pizza's I ever had was at Pizzeria Bianco in downtown Phoenix (near Bank One Ballpark). Alice Cooper's restaurant (Alice Cooper'stown) is right around the corner from there, too.
Next time, tell your wife to go there in January. much  er.

And Buddy when you're done at the car show, Head over to Marble Slab Creamery on Hayden and Indian Bend. Best ice cream in town.

Thanks for the info. I'll check out that car show if I can... I'm not sure that we will have a vehicle available but am meeting up with an old friend over there and maybe we can run by there.
