My car has a little over a 1/2" clearance from the wheel lip on the drivers side and a little less than a 1/4" on the passenger side. I'd like to even that up a little, so my question is, can I lengthen the passenger side UCA or shorten the drivers side to pull that rear over about a 1/4"? I have the adjustable Hotchkis uppers.

Gearbanger, if you are working on a GM A-body, you may first want to check to see if the body is on the frame evenly. A quick check is to measure from the frame rail to the wheel opening on each side. It is not uncommon for the body to be off a little. As for the upper arms, I believe they need to be adjusted the same.

My car has had a 1/4 panel installed in the past, and if I remember right, the wheel well is a little bigger on that side. But just to pull the tire away from that passenger side wheel lip a little bit, I thought that might work.
