The 2006 Donnybrooke Road Racing Revival at Brainerd International Raceway.

May 27th - 29th 2006

Sanctioned by NASA and organized by Snow States Autosports Club.

Are you looking for track time in Minnesota? Want to watch some fun races?

This 3 day event will include NASA HPDE and Time Trials all 3 days. 4 20 minute sessions per HPDE/TT group is scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. Monday will have HPDE and TT sessions also.

HPDE entry cost is $209 for all 3 days or $109 per day. NASA membership is required. Registration can be handled at the event.

Vintage racing will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

NASA points races will be held Saturday and Sunday. These races will be 40 minutes in duration and follow a standard NASA race format.

Saturday’s race schedule will also include the Donnybrooke 3-lap shoot-out. This race will follow an Australian Pursuit format race. There is a $10 per car entry fee that will be donated to the winning driver’s favorite (legitimate) charity. Entry grid will be determined by each car’s fastest lap times during Saturday’s racing events.

The start of the shootout will be from a standing start. Cars will grid diagonally along the track surface between turn and turn 10. The slowest car leaves first. The start time difference from car to car is 3 times the difference in their lap times. The theory is that all cars cross the finish line at the same time at the end of 3 laps.

With a 3 lap race at BIR the slowest car will not quiet make the first lap by the time the fastest car leaves its starting position. The finish of this race should be somewhat exciting…..

Monday morning we will hold a 60 minute enduro. This race is open to any driver who competes in the weekend’s points races. There is no entry fee for this event. A 5 minute mandatory pit stop can be performed anytime during the race. Driver changes can be performed during the pit stop. Refueling is not allowed because of limited safety crews available at the event.

There is no charge for specators!!
