:pics2: This is my very first post to the Pro-touring forum. My 67 chevelle has a 383 with ported World Products S/R torker heads, Air-Gap manifold, 750 street Demon, T700-R4 and Mosser Eng. 373 Eaton. The color is from the 67 Corvette "Sunfire Yellow". Been working on wiring and brake hydraulics lately. I love this site and have always been afraid to post because many of you have vasty more experience and tooling than I . Hope to some day cruise with some of you.

regards
mike

Mr. Hooper turned me on to the wheels. They are called AC III wheels. You see them on some AC Cobra kit cars. They offer them with spinners but am not crazy about that. I felt like this light yellow color, chrome or billet wheels would not be seen on the car. So, this gray center and polished rim was a good choice. They are 17x8 - 4" bs and 17x9.5 - 5.5" bs. I appreciate the encouraging words. What did Hiwayman mean by "skateboards"?

I just got back from the shop. My 67 Chevelle needed some work that I simply could not do. Interior is one of those things. Attached are some pictures. Tell me what you think. Love the smell of leather, don't you?

:git:

Thanks for all the support.

Just curious, did you make those "skateboards"/rollers yourself? If so, how'd you go about it?

Yes, I made them with Oak boards, some carriage bolts and wheels. You may find them on the internet cheaper now a days. I had eight wheel set and bought eight at Lowes or HD.

My point was to make the skates have the inner sizes to fit the jack stands. So, it works with just the tires on the skates or with jackstands on the skates. If you need any more help, just post a note.

thanks
