I doubt you going to find a quality job at either of these places for 25K.
Maybe spend that much at a shop after you buy a car, but 69s have passed that mark now.
I am seeing pure junk bringing 12-15 now.

you just missed the Charlotte Auto Fair:
http://www.charlotte-autofair.com/
the "boutique" muscle car shops (e.g. Mershons) charge top dollar...
I've seen good deals on http://www.racingjunk.com/
anyone who has a 1st gen camaro knows what they have and expects
crazy $. not always true for Novas -- the local paper could yield
a good deal for those.
best of luck.

Thanks guys.
Im open to 70 - 73 camaros, 67 -72 novas, 66-67 chevelles.
Im amazed at how much people pay for pure junk. Wish I never sold my 69 rs/ss 5 years ago. How much would you have to pay for a nice car, any of my choices above ?

The only piece of advice that I would offer is to really focus on finding a car with a solid body and undercarriage...
Rust free...
You will never regret spending money on a solid car!
It is very easy to get lured into buying a car that has fresh paint, nice wheels and a fresh looking interior.
Only to find out later that the floorpans, frame, trunk are rusted and the body panels are full of bondo..

Are you looking for something that's totally finished, or a car that still needs a little bit of work? I'd be willing to bet that you're not gonna find a properly restored, fast, pro touring type 69 Camaro that's completely finished for $25k. But who knows, you may get lucky. Also, how far are you willing to go to get it? I had to go ~850 miles to get my car, but you can try to find one close to you if you want; it just might take a little longer.
http://www.camaroworldinc.com - a shop in Dallas that buys/sells cars, parts, etc. for Camaros (and other cars as well); my experience with them has been that they're pricey and not always overly friendly
http://www.ctcautoranch.com - a place outside Dallas that's got a bunch of project cars for sale; I doubt you'll find what you're looking for here, as these are project cars, but I thought'd I'd post it anyway
http://www.ebay.com - self explanatory (since no one's mentioned it yet); I'm guessing you've probably already thought of this one
http://www.camaroz28.com - a site with message boards - check their classifieds for camaros of all years
http://www.lateral-g.net - a site similar to Pro-Touring.com; check their classified section in the forum
http://www.officialbaldwinmotion.com/ad.htm - Baldwin Motion website :lmao: :rotfl: just kidding....
http://www.collectorcartrader.com - the older car version of Auto Trader
Those are all I can think of right now. Sorry for the Dallas-biased links as well; I don't know that many non-internet-based places that aren't around here. Hope that helps!
