I had them. They are on the car in the lead picture on my website.
A 13" PBR setup will fit with a 1/4" wheel spacer. You can see pics of the setup here http://www.geocities.com/torkerscamaro/torker.html
The best way to clean them is to initially use an acid cleaner before you mount them. This will make the spokes much brighter. The outer section will be little effected since it is a machined surface, not polished. If the outer sections cloud at all a few minutes with an alumimum polish will clean them up. After mounting and for regular maintenance the orange citrus cleaners at Home Depot along with a soft brush work very well at removing brake dust. Buy a gallon, you may find it useful for other cleaning.
Beware of 16" tire availability. It's hard to find really good Z rated and/or track tires in a variety of sizes. 245/50's are the most popular size.

Hi Carl , I actually saw the 16s on your car and thought they looked awesome.
I test fit a baer brake and it did seem like I would need a spacer, I wanted to try to avoid spacers.Oh well.
I think I am going to paint the spokes with a single stage charcoal color, they should be easier to wipe off. I think the outer lip is clearcoated already.???
I have not found many tire choices, sumitomho or goodrich G force..
PS I usually just use the car wash soap to clean my rims, I save the wheels for last and use a paint brush.

If it's not going on a daily driver, I highly recommend the Toyo Proxes RA1 tires. We use this tire as the spec tire in the NASA CMC series. They work great and actually wear pretty well. Leave them full tread for a street car. They make a 255-50-16 and a 245-45-16.

Unless spec'ed the lips are not powdercoated.
I use a larger soft brush on the rims and it works great.

Congrats, Dirk! I have C4/13" with a 5/16" spacer. The outer lip is polished. Tend to get comments like "My those brakes fill the wheel" :)

If you can run a 245/50, the Nitto NT01 looks good. I run the NT555R2 and have had good results, and the NT01 is supposed to be an upgrade.

Good plan. Dirk, I run 245/50 on the front and 255/50 on the rear.

I run the V48s on my 73. I presently have Sumitomo HTRZ 245/50 front & 255/50 rear.
I am not sure what I will run for tires next. Kumho has the VictoRacer V700 in 245/45 & 265/45. I was checking out the new Avon Tech M500 in 245/45 and 245/50. I have also eyeballed the Yok AVS ES100.
I have more reading to do but my first glances at Toyo, Nitto & Hankook are introducing some cool stuff as well.

Firehawk SZ50's currently. My next upgrade will be to Nitto's for max braking, etc.
