ok, I've had so much trouble with this. Started out light in dash came on. Changed reg, light goes off.Week later light comes on. Changed reg, light goes off.Week later light comes on. Change alt light goes off.Week later batterry goes KABOOM! Blew the f up! Change batt. Check voltage; 16-17 volts.Switch to alt with built in reg. Look up how to wire using this forums search thread. Blue to Brown at reg. New plug with blue to one no1 side and no2 side to hot post with the bat term wire. Now everything is cool 14 volts at idle, part throttle, whatever. 14 volts. great except now my light on dash doesn't come on. EVER. Not even when car is dead and switch is on. What gives?
