Hi all,

There are a few unused holes in my floorpan and firewall for that matter and I'm not sure what to do with em. Mostly bolt sized smaller holes but also towards the rear of the car approx above the rear subframe mounts there are quarter sized holes 3 on driver and I think 2 on the passenger side. None of these holes are from rust or anything (floor pan is as solid as the day it rolled of the assembly line) but I don't know that they are factors since this is my first 1st gen camaro and I didn't even remove the interior.

Before I start laying down my sound deadening I wanted to seal up the floor pan but other than trying to find random rubber plugs I'm not sure what to do?

Thanks!

Weld them shut. If you dont want to do this or don't have access of one you could use epoxy and fill it in. Just use tape on the bottom and fill in the hole once the epoxy sets up take off the tape. The bigger holes you would have to make a metal patch and epoxy it in. You can use a seam sealer and fill in the holes. Alot of the fixes are just a band-aid fix, but I would recommend welding them shut.
