PST Polygraphite Front End Kits

Debating on going with a super front end kit from PST and trying to decide between polygraphite and their rubber kits. Any of you guys running there kits? Is it worth the upgrade to polygrphite? Is rubber really that bad?

I used their polygraphite bushings, and my car feels very solid. The stock rubber might be OK for awhile, but I beleive it will deteriorate faster than the Polygraphite. I'd just spend the extra bucks on the polygraphite.

They squeak. We modified them a bit with a few well placed zerk fittings, now they don't squeak.

Did they start squeaking right away or was this over time? This is why i am shying away from the polygraphite just want to avoid the constant squeaks goin down the road....

No squeak after 6 years! They are better than rubber but not better than Del-A-Lum style bushings.

Do you have some pictures of that? I've been thinking of doing the same to my P.G bushings.

Yeah, I had the polygraphite bushings for a few years and did not have squeaks either. I like them.

Can you Make a Bushing out of solid Del- A- lum ? Copy a PST bushing My PST bushings Squeaks also.

I have Del-a-lum's and the only reason I would ever consider going with anything other than that is if I was on a really tight budget. For how nice the aluminum ones are, I don't think the small price difference is any big deal at all. In my experience, they outperform poly and rubber in every category, except price. If it's at all within your budget, I would strongly recommend del-a-lum or another brand delrin/aluminum bushing.

I run polygraphite some years , with 245/45/zr17 tire and the bad condition of ours road , the feel is often unpleasant . I have reinstalled rubber bushing on the lower control arm . I prefer this set up . if you do competition , poly or del-a-lum is the choice, if not , rubber is to consider.however the rubber will probabely deteriorate faster than the poly after some years

My Delrin bushings still give a nice ride. I think that's because the low friction and solidness allows all the force input on the tire to translate into rotational movement. That way all the input is dampened by the shock rather than the shock+bushing.

That way all the input is dampened by the shock rather than the shock+bushing.That is correct. My car is better now with Del-a-lum bushings in the front than it was with Poly. And changing arms was the only thing I did. Moving the arms is actually easier with Solid bushings so that helps.

I used Polygraifite bushings on my 72 Camaro. ALL bushings, including body mounts,leaf springs, engine/trans mounts... Never had any squeaks! I like them alot!

I have their polygraphite bushings on my 73 as well and have no squeaks.
