i was thinking to get it to dress up the engine alittle more.

slowly but surely getting the bay tighter..

yall think this is a good product? or should i stick to your normal alternator?

I would suggest you visit madelectrical.com for lots of good reading on wiring our old cars. Most importatly read the section on why you should NOT run a one wire altrenator.

i get ya drift my man.

so im going to go and strap a chipmunk to my engine.. that would be the same remedy as buying that :doh:

Mad Electric’s point is fine and good but there is nothing wrong with one-wire alternators. As long as you run big wire (4 gauge or bigger) to the horn relay and other main pick-up points there isn’t a voltage drop issue. I’m running a one wire Powermaster XS alternator set to 14.5 volts. With my 12 amp electric water pump, 30 amp electric fan and every thing else churning I still have 14.3 volts at the dash. A top quality one-wire alternator is an excellent choice for most operating scenarios.

i have one of those alt...ot it from yearwood speed and customs and have the summit billet braket...good stuff
