What size? I modeled up the Vari-Shocks for the front of my van but I don't know if they will work for you...

are you willing to share the model??? Do you guys just model a shape or do you actually model the individual parts and mate them in assemblies???

oh and maybe this will help:
http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/3dcontentcentral/cc_frame.asp

there's no standard coil over shock on there, only a strut and a coil over w/ an external reservoir..but there's loads more there. Especially handy for bearings and stuff.

Mark, yes that will work. I just want a reprosentation of it & didn't have a part to go by to model it from.

Twin Turbo: model individual components & mate them in assemblies... You sound like a Unigraphics User...?

Okay Sam,
I will try to get one Iges'd out this weekend. I will put it on a stick though and bring in to work to ship out. I only have dial-up at home...

TT,
I checked out the 3D site... Cool, lots of useful "stuff".
If you want a 3D version of the shock let me know. It is separate components loaded into an asm so let me know how you want it. I can send a zipped parasolid if that would work.

Mark,
Yes I got them & they worked perfectly for what I wanted. I have been meaning to let you know, but have been busier than a one armed wall paper hanger.
Thanks,
Scot

Cool...
Is that on the same level as a one legged man in an ass kickin' contest?...

Exactly the same. Actually the same guy. His name is Lucky.

Once I get more of the Vette IRS modeled I will post some pics of my thoughts for the Vette rear in my Monte.
