My tires appear to rub on the inside (I have the typical 274/40 on a 17/9.5 with 5.5" b.s. Normally there is some clearance (either .25 or 0.5" I forget).

So I'm assuming my axle must be moving. The leafsprings are new. Is there anyway to limit it's movement more?

Tell us more about the rear spring, bushing, and shackle setup.

Its most likely due to axle pivot. As you go into a turn or driveway the axle archs inward. You should have at least an 1" there. Try to jack up one side of your car and see how far it moves.

Not sure what to say about the leaf springs. A local shop built them. Had them use polyurethane for mounting everything.
