Hello Boys!,
I am hoping y'all can help me with a little problem! I am a student in Auto Body at ISU. I am starting summer break and I already have jobs lining up! I have a client that totalled his '77 Camaro's front end and he was wondering if I could change out the frame for a '90's IROC frame. Can you do this? How much conversion is involved?

Well, first we will need your picture, second, it would be a HUGE task retroing a strut front to a subframe type car.

First of all, welcome to the site. Secondly, nope. Can't be done. The car you're talking about, the IROC, has a unibody. No true subframe on it. The '77 can be interchanged with units between '75 an '81. Otherwise, it's a ton of crazy fabrication.
