My brother-in-law wants to go drag racing. He is putting together a presentation about his car and his plans. He would like to take this presentation to local machine shops and performance shops to try and get some help in putting together the car. Does anyone have experience with this? What would you suggest he includes in this proposal?

Thanks,
Jason

Proven race results from previous seasons, big race wins, any magazine publications he might have been in.

If he doesn't have any previous racing experience don't even waste the time, you're not going to get anything out of it.

Pro Street is dead on, only the local hot shots need apply. Funny fact, at our track, you can buy a 4' X 8' sign on the track / Guard Rail for $1000 a year. So why would someone wanting to pursue spectators at the event want to be on a speeding car that goes by a few times a night, when you can have a sign all night.
