I am trying to locate the Weather-Pak connector like the one shown on the trinary switch on the dryer for the Vinatage Air setup Tony shows on pg 126 of "How to Build GM Pro-Touring Street Machines". Anyone know the best place to buy this from and what the part # or description would be?

Thanks!

I don't have the book (yet) but here's some pictures (http://www.statewire.com/pdfs/2003_wire_connectors/Page%20G1.pdf) with GM part numbers in pdf format.

It looks like a normal weather pack connector. There are a few companies that have them. MSD, Standard, JT&T. I did a keyword search on http://www.summitracing.com for weather pack and there is a Summit brand. MSD's part number on there is MSD-8171 for the 4 pin connector. They are $9.95 each or $65.39 for a pack of 10

If you've got a decent electronics store (not Radioshack) near you, you should be able to find them on the shelf without the MSD markup, in other words about half that price.

If you can wait for mail-order, Del City lays the smack down. www.delcity.net
For some reason they're listed under trailer connectors. Way cheaper.

and now i will present to you the greatest off all companies for stuff like this. im just not sure if you can order from them if your not a company. anywho its terminal supply company www.terminalsupplyco.com if its not shown ask anyway they should be able to get it. they have weatherpacks metra packs sealed and unsealed. they also have delphi connectors. so you can wire your car like GM does. delt with them pretty heavily for one car and they helped a lot. also lots of choices for very good wire. GLX is the good stuff

Stumbled across this find the other day. The Auveco company has weather pak connectors as part of their line. I was at an automotive hardware supply place and came across these. I picked some up for cheap.

They are on page 154 of the Auveco catalog

Try Napa, Carquest or just about any retail auto store and ask to look in their elec. supply catalogs. I just talked to a salesman and recieved a catalog from Terminal supply co. and they can supply any Packard or Deusch conn. you need!
