68 Camaro heater box

This is probably a stupid question, but when removing the stock heater box and blower motor, does the right fender have to come off to get the blower motor housing out?

I have everything out of the interior, just the box under the hood is left.

Hey jeff, i would say that the inner fender at least has to come off to get the blower motor out. not 100% sure so somebody correct me if i am wrong. sorry if i am no help

I had to pull my fender to get to it.

Same here, had to pull my fender/inner fender. 2nd generations are just as bad.
