Guys,
I have a customer with a 68 SS/RS that did a Big Block in it. he used the mid length Hedman headers so we could use a tucked up Pypes X-Pipe and keep the exhaust as high as can be.
The problem is that the idler arm hits the header tube with only about 1/2 to 3/4 turn of the steering wheel. I notice that all the header Mfg's make a note of the "825" box Not working, how do you tell what series box you have or what is needed.
So if anyone has has had a Big Block in a 1st Gen and can help my customer out, I and him would be greatly appreaciated.
