Am thinking about going this route (Air Ride - all four corners) on my 69 chevelle. But...I'd like to know just how well my car will handle before forking out the cash. Anyone out their have this on their full frame car, or any car for that matter? If so, how do you like/dislike it? Thanks!

I've done my research and have the kit in my shop, but I'm waiting for the frame to get finished with powdercoat. If your going for all out track use, don't do it, you'd be better off with other systems like HTH, Global West, Hotchkiss, or SC&C. But if you wanna street car with better hadling manners and badass airride, go with it! I must tell you, I knew ART was the best but, god damn do they make a nice product, customer service is great, and their packaging is awsome. Great Company! If you do a search you'll find enough info to most likely make you decision. Good luck and if you have a ?'s feel free to let me know. I got Shockwaves up front w/ upperand lower tubular control arms, and rear upper and lower tubular control arms, 5 gal tank and twin compressors w/ez-ride

Air Ride had some fully bagged cars (70's orange Camaro and a newer Mustang) running the dry autocross at the Year One Event. I personally did not see them run or get a ride in one but I would bet someone from the board did!

Just wondering...did you have to do any welding/beating on your frame before install of your air-ride kit?

i have ART cool ride on my 70 buick conv. , i also have ART sway bars frt and rear . i really like the ride i have gained on my car .
i did have to trim my coil spring pockets on the frt to make clearance for the bags to ride in . easy to do this modification if you have access to air tools .
go for it !
