Prodigy cruising sound and video clip

It was a nice sunny 80 degree day in Orlando today, perfect for Michael to take his 2 girlfriends out for a cruise.

We put some sprial type inserts in the exhaust and got it down to 109DB from 121DB before. They are removable when we want to sound off, like for a show or track day. At least now it is only ticket me loud, not arrest me loud! I still love the sound and just get all giggly riding down the street beside him!

Neil, very good guess, 266 / 272 @.050. We actually might put a smaller cam in it for power tour, thinking about it anyway. Either the 3.07 gear is going away, or the cam, for power tour. we thought we would leave the gear in for Power Tour, but it is so tall it sucks around town. Also, the car with the 3.07s and 26.5 tires turns only 2000 at 60MPH and is still loping. it will never see 5th with those gears. Guess we will through some 3.73s or 3.90s in it, or put a smaller cam in it for PT. We put a 2 piece timing cover on it just for these types of changes.

Dave, it is actually a lot quieter then you heard it, we just did the inserts Sunday morning. But still the same sound, just muted a bit.

My Cuda does..lol.... If I make the Power Tour, we better not get close to each other..The combined sound will surely get us a ticket. We've got 3.5" chambered exhaust on the Cuda..they do have a unique sound, those chambers..I love them.

hey frank, i had a picture of your prototype car on my desktop and i noticed something that was very cool. I saw that you had the rockerpanel idea that was on the bottom of the door also on the top. That was very cool and i was wodnering if that was going to be incorporated into the car or not. I watched the videos and was expecting that on the car. Either way great sound and even better car!

Originaly we thought we would do the 67 RS moldings on the lower (we did) and 68 deluxe uppers. But as we started putting it together decided to skip the uppers. We still may though. And thanks for the compliments.
