i thought someone could use this. the yard is in north texas and has more acres of pre 75 cars than i care to think about and all of them are 99.9% rust free. it's texas we only get surface rust because we pour sand not salt on the roads in the winter.

Thanks for the pics. We'd drive past that place once a week for the past 18 months but we never had a chance to stop in.

I take it they'll let you walk the lot?

That place is crazy high on their prices because they know they have great parts. It must be nice to get those cars for sometimes $100.00- $400.00 each (or sometimes free) and sell a rust free 1/4 panel for $1000.00 or a fender for $350.00. What a racket......
This is not speculation......It's the truth.....

Don't get me wrong..they have great parts and service....you just gotta come outta pocket HARD.

That my friend is the American way. Nothing wrong with them making a profit.Profit is not a bad word. There is more to having a yard like that than just buying a car cheap and selling parts. There is picking it up(new rollbacks) employees, insurance, more insurance, more frickin insurance, daily cost of having business open. and on and on and on........
Good for them if they can still somehow make a profit and provide a service. Any yard can sell rusted junk or say they are cheaper if they do not have the parts to sell in the first place. For every car this place sells, I bet there are two the end up crushing.

I speak from experience here, and applaud anyone that provides this much needed service. I would support them personally if I was close enough.
<----off soapbox.

I understand what you are saying but this is just one more area that keeps the little guy from having a great car at a reasonable price. This is what makes my customers freak out when they find out how much it takes to build a GREAT car. :look:
NOT TO HIJACK BUT....BARRY WHITE IS NOT HELPING THIS EITHER!

LOL, I have the same trouble when I price a house these days, stuff just cost more than they once did. Even since last year, things just go up. That is just part of it. Like anything else though, you do get what you pay for. Alot of folks that live in the midwest take for granted the value of such great yards, with rust free or minor rusted parts. That just does not exist here but the rusted stuff is STILL high. I guess the market being up is good for some and bad for others, just depends on which side of the fence you are on. Either way, high prices are good for all of us.

Does anyone have a phone number, name, or address for this place?

I would gladly pay the cash for some interior pieces for my 62 Nova sedan. I've been calling and e-mailing people from all over and even the national Nova club and still struck out. This is definitely a valuable service.

Only the first two pics are showing up for me. The one with the 59/60 Impalas up front and the other has a 66 4dr Chevelle and a 64 Chevelle sedan. No billboards in those two pics.
