I have bought a GM Performance parts ZZ383 for my project 67 Camaro.
I wonder what would be the best intake, carb and headers to use.
I’m thinking of a Performer RPM AirGap with a Barry Grant 750cfm Mighty Demon or a Performer RPM Dual Quad AirGAP with two 500 cfm Thunder Series AVS carbs.
Do you guys have any experience with what will work best?
Witch headers would be the best choice.
Hooker Super Comp with 1 ¾” prim 3” coll. or 1 7/8” with 3½ “ coll.,
Thanks

I just installed a ZZ383 in my 67 Camaro. I went with the Demon 750 (I think road demon) Weiand 8121 dual plane intake and Hooker 1.75" super comps.
I have the quickratio P.S. gearbox out of a 1986 Iroc Z and I probably have about 1/4" of clearance around each header tube (no denting) and the pitman arm is close.
Do yourself a favor and dont get a carter high volume fuel pump, the clocking is a real P.I.A.
I should have the car running (hopefully) by Friday.

Thanks for your answers.
I asked Edelbrock and got this answer from them.
“If the ZZ383 has the vortec style heads, the # 2026 Dual Quad Air-Gap manifold and carburetor kit will work nicely. There should be no clearance issue at all with the height of the manifold. Usually, the single quad Air-Gap manifold will build more top end power while the dual quad setup will build more torque. Thanks.”
I will ask them if they have done any dyno-testing and if they can provide any numbers on hp and torque.

+1 -
Multiple carbs won't gain you anything and are a PITA to tune.
