ProdigyCustoms

I guess this will be the "last project update", as Prodigy is officially a car now, not a project. Since SEMA, we have kept Prodigy a bit under wraps, but made a few changes. Repaired all the SEMA thrash "issues" and repaired some "SEMA damage". Most notably will be the installation of a KILLER AudioBahn competition grade 6000 watt sound system which included fabbing new door and trim panel speaker pods, and a complete trunk kit. A special thanks to our own Camaroboy (Adam) for making the awesome laser cut polished stainless Prodigy Customs logo we used in the trunk. Also, we properly finished the hard boot and waterfall which we had not had time to do in the thrash before SEMA, (remeber the panda bear hiding the unfinshed waterfall, LOL). We added the speedster humps we had planed, and painted the boot instead of covering it in leather which hide unfinishing. Consensous was the boot looked hot! We got the mechanical gremlins handled, and got her 4 wheel aligned which was a special day for us. To see it line up, all the wheels in the center of there respective wheelwells, and all the specs be dead nuts, let us know our engineering was good.
Now to the show, We pulled in late, 11:30 or so, but cleared the show field when we did. We got a ton of people stoping in the tracks with a Holy Sheot look as we rumbled in. People pointed, thumbs up, lots of wows, and a few damn that thing is f---in loud! A crowd of people surrounded us as we backed it in a spot and set up display, ohhs, ahhs, whats in it? Wow, whoa, and as the crowd started to move on, we fired up the sound system and brought them all back. It was killer, and made it all worth while. More then the reaction we could have hoped for.
In the meantime, we were getting some bigtime press o the GTO as Dennis Gage (My Classic Car) jumped on Bill as he pulled on the show field, and did a nice segment on the car. Dennis had already picked all his features for the year ohne show, but stopped in his tracks when hre saw Prodigy and asked to use it to open the show, interview the CFO of Year one, and close the show with the car, and asked to use Lisa too! Pretty cool! lisa just wants to clip his mustachce!
Super Chevy had already contacted us for a major feature on the car, but let us know they also wanted us to do some laps with a few other cars on the track for the intro shot of the Year One coverage in the magazine. Michael and a couple other members here made some awesome pictures on the track together.
Then it was off to shoot the feature on the back stretch, which gave us a chance to play, unsupervised, no pace car, just us and our photograher with the Prodigy Crew behind, WAY behind, LOL!. Lets just say, we through her around a bit, we will see if any of the pics get used.
Sunday, a couple the Prodigy babes dressed a little cutsey and got the attention of a few photograpohers when they started sitting on the roll bar of prodigy. Photographers seemed to magically appear including best known PHRs Johnny and Super Chevy's Mike, and a few others from other shows and magazines. I am sure the girls will show up in a few mags. I know some participants may have got some shots the magazines can't publish as some of the girls were wearing skirts, sitting on the roll bar, which is 47" off the ground, well, you get the picture!
So thats it, the first of many shows, and the last update. Here are a few pics.
