Very cool!
Malletcars Ltd. by me is selling an LS2 Solstice, it's twice as much as a regular one but at least it's available to the public.
This one is cool that they got GM behind it.
They say the car weighs 2800 lbs, doesn't a new Z06 weigh about the same?

No question. I'd love to see a "blacked out" Vader-esque Sky. No badges/logos etc. They are SO much meaner looking than the Solstice...Call it the "SNX" or something lol!

Hell yea.. heck, even the Opel GT looks better than the Solstice. Not that the Solstice looks bad.
Astro, something tells me you were involved with the control arms. Any details?

I designed them when I was a contract puke inside GM. :geek:
Two month design time from start to finish, front uppers and lowers and rear uppers and lowers. The front upper arms are actually a single casting. The LH/RH difference is in the machining process. One casting saved a ton of cash on molds and actually made the part even cheaper because of quantity... Double the quantity reduced the piece price.
The rear uppers were two separate castings. Too much stuff going on to make them the same...
