Hey gang,
Just wanted to say hi before digging into searches and asking stupid questions.
I'm building a '55 bel air driver, low-tech outside, high-tech inside (I'm partially through an lt1/t56 swap). I'm making the best of my stock frame for now but I hope to at least get the handling and stopping to fun-street-car levels through all the traditional avenues (tubular upper a-arms, front coilovers, chunky swaybar, etc). I love the idea of surprising people with how well an old car can turn and handle. At the same time, the car is primarily going to see street duty.
Since a lot of the guys in the tri-five community are more into show cars and weekend cruisers, I figured I might learn more here.
Thanks in advance for all I know I'm going to learn here!
